Supporting Student Programs

All funds raised at the Brookswood Car Show will be used to support our school's Breakfast program, as well as our Music and Applied skills programs (Automotive & Trades Programs specifically). Our Breakfast program relies on parent & staff volunteers and funding from parent donations and sponsorships. Our annual budget is approximately $1,000 per month to provide nutritious choices for students on a daily basis. Our Music Program provides creative opportunities for students in Grades 8-12 and requires supplemental funding for music & equipment purchases, performances and future music tours. Additionally, Brookswood hosts the family of school's elementary band program for students in Grades 6 & 7 in the Brookswood community. Finally, our Applied Skills Programs include Automotive classes, our race car team and other opportunities in the trades including Skills Explorations as well as programs for students in Home Economics, Film & TV and more. All fundraising from the Brookswood Car Show goes directly to the benefit of students within these programs at the school and more.
